Pilastro

Pilastro is a sculptural bookcase with a minimalist, industrial and brutalist character, designed to combine functionality with timeless design.
Crafted from steel and real concrete, it is available in three finishes: clear-coated raw steel, which preserves the authentic texture and character of the material while protecting the surface with a transparent finish; matte black powder-coated steel, for a clean and understated look; and Construction Orange powder-coated steel, inspired by industrial safety colors, for a bold and distinctive statement.
Standing 190 cm high while occupying only 23 × 19 cm of floor space, Pilastro takes advantage of vertical space to accommodate dozens of books, depending on their size and thickness.
The base is made of solid concrete, ensuring stability while reinforcing the sculptural identity of the piece.
Every Pilastro bookcase is handcrafted in small batches in Italy and delivered fully assembled. Slight variations and surface imperfections are not defects, but a natural expression of the materials and the handmade production process, making each piece unique.

Pilastro is an honest object, unwilling to impose its structure but well servicing what it contains.
